At this year’s ProWein, one of Europe’s leading wine fairs, A. Racke and the Aresti Winery launched a new international wine brand: 
With its strong brand image ESPIRITU DE CHILE is targeting new consumer groups in the New World wine segment. Simultaneously with its launch in Germany ESPIRITU DE CHILE is being introduced in another 16 countries.
ESPIRITU DE CHILE is seen by joint venture partners Aresti and Racke as a great opportunity to create an internationally successful brand for the continuously growing market for wines from the New World, one with an unmistakable identity which will noticeably influence the Chilean wine segment.
The new wine range will start with four wines of the varietals Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Carmenčre. A premium range offering three wines of Gran Reserva quality, in addition presents attractive wines for the connoisseur.
Central to ESPIRITU DE CHILE’s brand appearance is the golden sun sign which is reminiscent of the ancient South American civilizations and the cultural heritage of Chile. Together with Chile s present–day wine style, ESPIRITU DE CHILE stands for the tradition and modernity of this rising wine–growing country.
In–depth international market research constituted the basis for the launch of this wine range which was, as is the case with all Racke wines, precisely tailored to the demands of defined consumer groups.
As a brand designed for the international market, ESPIRITU DE CHILE will be introduced in other countries simultaneously with its launch in Germany: Great Britain, the Benelux, Scandinavia, Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil and Japan will comprise the first target countries for the new brand.
Particularly in USA, Great Britain and the Netherlands, joint venture partners Aresti and Racke expect good results due to a strong demand in these countries for wines of a superior quality. All wines of ESPIRITU DE CHILE are originally bottled in Chile.
