Akamai President and CEO Paul Sagan to Preside Over the Opening of the NASDAQ Stock Market Aug 22nd 2005
Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading global service provider for accelerating content and business processes online, today announced that Paul Sagan, president and chief executive officer, will open The NASDAQ Stock Market in New York. 
The event will spotlight the 7th anniversary of Akamai s incorporation and nearly six years of listing with NASDAQ. To honor the occasion, Akamai also released today a Netrospective that provides a year-by-year look back at key milestones in the Company s growth and participation in events that have shaped the Internet. Mr. Sagan will join NASDAQ Executive Vice President Bruce Aust in presiding over the Market Open.
